ধাপ ৩: ফরম্যাটের নিয়ম (এখানেই বেশিরভাগ সিভি বাদ পড়ে)Step 3: Formatting rules (where most CVs die)
- এক পাতা। নতুনদের সিভি এক পাতার বেশি হলে পড়া হয় না।One page. A fresher CV beyond one page goes unread.
- সাধারণ ফন্ট: Arial বা Calibri, সাইজ ১০-১২। রঙিন ডিজাইন চাকরির সিভিতে নয় (ডিজাইনার পদ ছাড়া)।Plain fonts: Arial or Calibri, size 10-12. No colorful designs except for design roles.
- ছবি: বাংলাদেশে ফরমাল ছবি দেওয়ার চল আছে, দিলে পরিষ্কার ব্যাকগ্রাউন্ডের ফরমাল ছবি দিন। বিদেশি কোম্পানিতে আবেদন করলে ছবি বাদ।Photo: a formal photo is customary in Bangladesh; use a clean formal one. Drop the photo for international applications.
- বানান: একটা বানান ভুল মানেই অযত্নের ছাপ। Word-এর স্পেল চেক আর AI দুটো দিয়েই দেখুন।Spelling: one typo signals carelessness. Check with both Word and AI.
ধাপ ৪: ফাইনাল চেক আর সেভStep 4: Final check and save
Word বা Google Docs-এ ফাইনাল করুন, তারপর অবশ্যই PDF হিসেবে সেভ করুন, ফাইলের নাম দিন নিজের নামে: Rahim_Uddin_CV.pdf। "New Document (3).pdf" নামের ফাইল পাঠানো মানে প্রথম ছাপটাই নষ্ট। পাঠানোর আগে আরেকজনকে একবার পড়তে দিন।Finalize in Word or Google Docs, save as PDF named after you: Rahim_Uddin_CV.pdf. Sending New Document (3).pdf ruins the first impression. Have one person proofread before sending.
